Caramel Row implements a gravity-based cascade mechanic where matched caramels disappear and trigger chain reactions. Each successful three-match removes pieces from the board, causing remaining candies to fall downward and fill empty spaces. New pieces spawn from the top row, creating opportunities for combo sequences without additional moves.
The game tracks combo multipliers in real-time, increasing score values with each consecutive match triggered by a single move. A five-match cascade awards 5x points, while seven-match chains unlock special striped caramels that clear entire rows when activated. The physics engine calculates fall speed at 0.3 seconds per row, maintaining smooth visual feedback during complex chain reactions.
Level objectives vary across the 1000+ stages: target score thresholds, ingredient collection missions requiring specific candy drops to reach the bottom, and timed challenges with move limits between 15 and 40 swaps. The difficulty curve introduces blocker tiles at level 50, frozen caramels requiring double matches at level 120, and chocolate spawners that spread unless contained by matches at level 200.
Every match triggered by gravity after your initial swap increases the combo counter. Reach 5x multiplier to activate rainbow caramel spawns that clear entire color groups. The system tracks up to 15-chain combos, with score bonuses scaling exponentially from 100 to 5000 points per match.
New puzzle objectives unlock every 24 hours with unique board layouts and special win conditions. Complete ingredient collection runs, race against 60-second timers, or achieve target scores with limited moves. Each challenge awards spin tokens for the Lucky Wheel bonus system.
Four craftable boosters modify gameplay: Striped Caramels clear full rows or columns, Wrapped Candies explode in 3x3 radius, Color Bombs remove all pieces matching one color, and Jelly Fish target three random blockers. Combine two special candies for amplified effects.
Journey through 10 themed environments with 100 levels each: Caramel Coast, Mint Mountains, Chocolate Caverns, Vanilla Valley, and six more biomes. Each world introduces new blocker types, board shapes, and mechanic variations like conveyor tiles and teleport portals.
Five hearts regenerate automatically at one life per 30 minutes. Failed levels consume one heart, while successful completion preserves your count. Request extra lives from connected friends or earn bonus hearts through daily login rewards and challenge completions.
Play any unlocked level without internet connection. Progress syncs automatically when reconnected, preserving completed stages, earned stars, and collected coins. Daily challenges and leaderboard features require active connection but core gameplay remains fully accessible offline.
